I’m Seventeen in Prague
This is Dan from the Philly
Music Trade website. I just had one of those
"Out of Body" experiences that I had to share with www.tommyconwell.com.

I was in Prague recently on business. The night before I
returned home, I couldn't sleep, so I was watching a European Sports
Highlight show on TV. Believe me, there are no U.S. Sports on TV
in Prague, not even during the Stanley Cup and NBA
Playoffs.
Anyway, at about 12:30 AM, on comes the Top Ten Highlights of the
Week. Number Ten was a series of great plays by a soccer player
from Madrid, Spain. I didn't catch his name, but he was wearing
number.....you guessed it.....SEVENTEEN.
Through my groggy eyes, half-listening ears, and a distracted mind I
realized that I had actually heard what I thought I heard.
Behind this highlight clip, they were playing the original version of
"I'm Seventeen". It lasted all of fifteen
seconds, and by the time it was over I wondered if I had actually
heard it. I had - I'm sure!!
I thought you'd both enjoy knowing that all around the world, people
still have an appreciation for great Philly music.
